Blessings of Surrender in 2006
 I always enjoy the beginning of a new year. I don't
really know why, but each year I feel a rebirth within myself. For me this
is a time of contemplation and also a time to gather the energy of the
past year and transform it into something wonderful and creative for the
coming year. As I have grown in my commitment to Surrender, it has become
more beautiful than ever. No longer do I dwell on what I did not
accomplish in the past year but I look at each moment as a gift to be
opened and explored for what it "is" rather than what I think it "should
be". Doing this has been a rather big lesson for me and one I work on each
day.
This new year also brought my son Quinn
back home from a deployment in Iraq. I am ever grateful for the protection
that surrounds him and his safe return once again. May we find it within
our hearts and beings to live and love in peace so that others throughout
the world may feel our energy and will also live and love in
peace.
SEMINARS/RETREATS
In contemplation, as the new year
approached, I set my sites for the year of 2006 as one of
service to others, to my community, to my family, to my world, and to my
God. It has felt very satisfying to surrender the "me" and to think about
what I can do to help "you".
I have planned many new things for "I
Surrender This" in the coming year, most importantly my first
seminar/retreats. I am very excited about the prospect of actually getting
in front of people and helping them with their Surrender. I am planning
three seperate seminars for the year. Below is a brief overview of
what they will be. Date/Location/Price is still unknown at this
time.
Following this Newsletter,
I will be sending out a survey to help me decide when and
where to schedule these events. Please won't you
take a moment and fill the survey out. One place I am looking into to hold
these is
Angel's
Rest Retreat Center here on the east coast of the

Surrendering with
the Angels and " I Surrender This"
This seminar/retreat will be a
combination of my angel work as well as a good dose of Surrender. We
will spend time learning about the angels and how they can help
you in specific times and circumstances in your life. We will be askiing
the angels to specifically help us with any issues that are getting in the
way of our Divine Being. This will be a Friday evening to Sunday afternoon
seminar/retreat.
A Surrender
Intensive: Accepting Life as "It Is"
When you are ready to
really understand the concept of Surrender and are willing to accept and
allow the Universe to be your Guide, this is the seminar for
you!
This will be deep and powerful work
over the course of a weekend. The seminar will be limited to 15 people so
individual attention can be given. It will consist of meditations,
journaling, group work and lots and lots of Letting Go.
This will be a Friday evening to Sunday
afternoon seminar.
Certification as
a Surrender Circle Mentor
This certification
will take place in the later half of 2006. When I first developed "I
Surrender This" I imagined people locally getting together to support one
another in their Surrender. I have recently started what I call a
"Surrender Circle". We gather once a month and I facilitate/mentor for the
group. I start with a brief talk, then each person introduces themself and
what it is they would like to work on for the month. I then do a guided
meditation and each person puts a Surrender into the "I Surrender This"
flag. Next, together we pick a global situation that we feel could use our
energy and Surrender that into God's hand as well.
This is powerful work and I would like
to see it happening throughout the world. This certification will teach
you to become a Surrender Circle Mentor. You will also spend time
during this seminar working through your own blocks so you can better
help others learn the concept of Surrender.
As a Surrender Circle Mentor (SCM) you
will also learn how to give a Surrender Reading to a client. Learn fully
the aspects of Letting Go as described in the book "I Surrender This" and
become a wholesale destributor for "I Surrender This"
products.

make a big difference,
ignore add up to big differences that we often cannot
foresee.
