| My Journey to Surrender |

To those who may not know me, my name is
Lisa Sullivan and I am the creator and developer of the
product/kit "I Surrender This".
The idea for this
product came to me out of the despair that I was feeling when
my only son was about to be deployed to Afghanistan in the
fall of 2003. To say the least I was not dealing well with his
imminent departure many miles from home. As part of a 7 man
scout/sniper team he would be spending the next 9 months in
the mountainous boarder between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The
thought of not knowing when I would see or speak to him again
sent me to a place that I never care to go to again. Then one
day, near total despair I realized all I could do was hand
this worry, sadness and fear over to God. With this thought,
"I Surrender This" was born.
My son returned home this
past summer safe and sound and continues on his journey within
the United States Army.
Blessings to all my friends,
family and supporters. I am so excited and blessed that this
day has finally come and I have over 100 completed "I
Surrender This" kits to offer for sale. With another 900 in
the process of production.
There were days while I was
working on this that I felt as though I would never get to the
finish line. However with God as the pilot of this project it
has actually happened in record time. The vision that I had in
my mind almost 2 years ago of how this product would look and
feel is now a reality in the world. It is something I can
touch and use and offer to others in need of the gift that
Spiritual Surrender offers.
As I look back on this
path I have taken, I am reminded that there were times when I
crawled and other times when I ran. There were times when I
needed someone else to pick me up and carry me and there were
times when I felt I carried the load of many. I am also made
aware that this is only one of many finish lines that I will
cross, for I will never be really finished with my purpose
until my last breath.
The next road on this path for
me is getting this product and concept out into the world so
others can benefit from it. With this in mind I ask each of
you for your help for it is not something I can do alone. If
you know someone in your life that you feel could use this,
please send them to my website and ask them to post a
Surrender Prayer or tell them about the product.
I am
also available for speaking engagements at churches, support
groups and stores.
I have a 1 hour, 2 hour and half day
program that I can offer on implementing Spiritual Surrender
into our daily lives.

prayers that have meant so much to me and this project.

"I Surrender This"
Consists of a
sculpture representing both your hand and Gods hand as they
work together as one in letting go of all issues, problems,
circumstances and fears that do not benefit your highest good.
This hand holds a white Surrender flag which is also a pocket
or pouch into which you place written statements of Surrender
or photos or objects that need Surrendering. The flag is made
of 100% organic cotton canvas and acts as a toxic free
environment for all your deepest desires and wishes to be held
in.
Along with the sculpture and flag there is a 50
sheet tablet of 100% post consumer paper that is the first
paper to receive the Forest Stewardship Council’s (FSC®)
Chain-of-Custody Certification (see article below). This paper
also acts as a toxic free environment onto which you can write
down those things in your life that need to be Surrendered to
God.
The box this all comes in can be saved and used
as a keepsake or God box. It is large enough to place items
that would not fit into the flag/pouch.
And last but
not least is a book that I have written that describes the
process of Surrender and how to use this product. There are
Surrender Affirmations along with steps that will help you
release all of your fears and replace them with a positive and
affirmative thought and belief system. I will also be offering
this book as an e-book within the next couple of days so stay
tuned.
I have created “I Surrender This” to act as a
visual and hands on spiritual tool to aid you on your path to
peace. It has been created so that you can personalize it for
yourself. During the day, put your flag where you can see it.
Create a mini altar with photos of loved ones and other
representative objects near it. Everyday I light a candle and
look through what I have put into my flag and then I release
it again if I need to. This is your flag, the only thing it
needs is your belief that the perfect outcome is waiting for
every situation. No attachment on how or when, just the belief
that it is being taken care of and you no longer need to
worry.
I am so honored to be offering this empowering
way of believing. "Thy will be done" is the most profound
statement of Surrender that we can offer to God and I pray
with you as you journey on this path of Surrender.

| About the paper used in "I Surrender

Monadnock Paper Mills, Inc. announced
today that it has been awarded the Forest Stewardship
Council’s (FSC®) Chain-of-Custody Certification for it’s 100%
post-consumer fiber, fine printing paper - Astrolite PC 100®.
The SmartWood Program of the Rainforest Alliance®, a
third-party certifier endorsed by the FSC, conducted the
testing for Monadnock’s Chain-of-Custody Certification.
Monadnock’s Astrolite PC 100 will now be the first
commercially branded recycled grade of paper sold in the
United States to bear the FSC “checkmark and tree” logo,
assuring environmentally conscious paper and print buyers that
Monadnock Paper Mills manufactures this product in compliance
with FSC standards. This goal is achieved by tracking
post-consumer fiber from its point of recovery through every
step of the repulping and paper manufacturing process. Only
when this chain-of-custody tracking has been independently
verified is the product eligible to carry the FSC logo – a
globally accepted sign of environmental sustainability.
Commenting on the announcement, David E. Rousse,
Monadnock Vice President of Graphic Arts Sales and Marketing,
said: “We are extremely pleased that Astrolite PC 100 was
deemed worthy of FSC certification. The product will now bear
the FSC logo - a symbol of compliance with FSC standards -
ensuring that the product, and also the process by which the
paper is made, promotes environmental sustainability. FSC
certification assures customers that every lot of this product
is made from 100% post-consumer reclaimed material that can be
traced to its source.”
“FSC encourages consumers to
look and ask for the FSC label when purchasing paper
products,” said Michael Washburn, FSC Vice President of
Forestry and Marketing. “By specifying Monadnock’s Astrolite
PC 100 with the FSC logo, designers, printers and their
corporate clients can demonstrate support for the environment
as well as support for responsible companies like Monadnock
that develop and implement practices that promote
environmental sustainability.”
Monadnock Paper Mills
was awarded Chain-Of-Custody Certification for compliance with
draft standards under an FSC pilot test program for
reclaimed/recycled chip and fibre material. To ensure
continued adherence to the FSC chain-of-custody tracking and
handling procedures within the Company’s operations, Monadnock
will conduct periodic self-evaluations and accept random
visits, at least once a year by SmartWood auditors.
